CPSO's Vision and Mission
The Campus Planning and Sustainability Office (CPSO), established in July 2011, supports the University's long-term developments in terms of campus and space planning and the development and implementation of green policies and practices.
Vision
Building and maintaining a sustainable campus which
- supports the University's future developments and meet its growth needs; and
- provides leadership in sustainability efforts in Hong Kong and beyond, for the present and future generations
Mission
- To provide solid administrative support to realise the aspirations of the Campus Master Plan, which provides a planning framework for the University's physical development
- To steer and coordinate CUHK's long-term campus development by balancing the University's growth needs, environmental concerns and sustainability commitments
- To build a sustainable campus by encouraging and implementing green initiatives, engaging stakeholders, sharing best practices, benchmarking and developing strategic partnership with local and overseas institutions
